My name is Ernesto Salcedo and I am a first generation Latino engineer. I grew up in a low income household and growing up I didn't have many mentors. But I did know one thing... I did not want to continue working in the fields.

With some hard work and many sleepless nights I was able navigate through the higher education system and graduate with my Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CSU-Sacramento. I also continued my education with programming in a Python Full Stack coding boot camp from Coding Dojo.

For me I didn't realize how much I loved programming until after college. There is something undeniably satisfying about bringing to life your imagination through programming.
